I've just had a little chuckle reading this, because I'm so rubbish at all of those things...although I have recently started to exercise more again and my diet has probably improved with that... making my diabetes control better!!
I haven't posted in a long time but wanted to respond to this because I came across a tool a month ago that's really helping me. I started using the app LifeSum (about $60 for a year long subscription) and it helps me track what I'm eating, how much water I'm drinking, and how much I'm exercising. One of my major issues is nutritional deficiencies at this point, so the app helps me find healthy recipes and helps me balance my diet throughout the day so I'm aware of what I'm eating and getting more of what I need. It's not perfect (I'm happy to expand on that if anyone is interested in details), but has been a real help to me. There are also some great recipes.
Another tool that's helped me is the cookbook Everyday Happy Herbivore: Over 175 Quick-and-Easy Fat-Free and Low-Fat Vegan Recipes by Lindsay Nixon. I'm not vegan, but this has helped me come up with alternative cooking methods and ingredients to lower the amount of fat I eat and still eat healthy.
My pain levels and bloating have been down lately and I'm hoping my next blood test comes back with better vitamin and mineral levels. We'll see!
Only by chance I found out I had calcified pancreatitis but to date it hasn't been any trouble. However that's good as my Rheumatoid arthritis takes up my time and effort to deal with that as well. Long may it last 🤞
