If I visualised my pancreas it would look like a corn on the cob aglow with pain ,I'm new to this community,I have pancreatic cancer, a neuroendocrine tumour that is slow growing ,I have just started a new treatment PRRT at Liverpool University of Nuclear MEDICINES.diagnosed in 2020 I was misdiagnosed from 2016,after getting one symptom after another, finally the day arrived when I heard "Sorry but you have inoperable pancreatic cancer", but I am still here and in my third year of treatment ,will update in a few weeks ,take care everyone God Bless You, Poppy Storeyx

I'm glad you have joined our wee community. You really have been through an awful experience but hopefully this new treatment will help to keep you comfortable and here with us for as long as possible.

Thankyou so much ,it's good to hear from you ,And I will certainly let you know I have only had 1 session of Prrt,last month the next is 2nd of May and is 5 hrs every 8 was.then my somasatine injection every 21 days.it was all getting me down over the past few months but I feel what's going on in the world today is far far worse than what I have ,please remember these countries in your prayers .Godbless Poppy

Thankyou. So much,I would just like to say stick by your guns when informing your doctor of what your experiencing there to listen and to act,I have learnt a lot about my very rare cancer which is hard to diagnose,fair enough ,but when your shown a scan in 2020 of one done in 2016 and there the tumor is,it was soul destroying,and there lots of symptoms,eventualy all the boxes were ticked.But after that little outburst [sorry]I have to say I'm 79 next month I've had a good life and wonderful husband,i thankGod for that ,I will pray for you all.Im going knowhere yet.Love Poppy

I’m new to this community but am part of another as I live with a long term autoimmune condition called ADULT ONSET STILLS DISEASE which for me manifests as rheumatic Disease with joint pain and swelling . I was aged 17 then and am nearing 61 now. Organ damage is a possibility of Stills Disease. I’m currently being investigated for pancreatic or liver cancer and gallbladder has also been mentioned, early round of results pending.

I never thought of how my pancreas looks but I think, small, grey, insignificant, amorphous with minute strange lumps or growths the glow red and give pain.
