Instructions for dosage should be contained within the box but dosage is 1 - 2 tablets every 6 hrs.

Don’t take more than 8 tablets in any 24 hours.

If symptoms persist seek medical advice.

Acupuncture has many uses but speak with a physio who will carry out this procedure. It can be very successful

No more than 4000mg per day and not recommended at this dose long term.

Actually Dexter-following on from what you have advised-I was advised NOT to take more than six (500 mg tablets) a day, and certainly for 'long term use' , with our condition anyway, less than this.

A 'rather belated' Happy Easter.

Well then follow your Dr.'s advice.  The max dose on label is 4000mg or 8/day but Tylenol can hurt your liver so that's why not recommended for long term.  You could try a pain reliever with caffeine as that sometimes helps treat headaches.  Excedrin has caffeine if they sell it there.

Happy Belated Easter to you also!

I don't have the headaches, but I take 500mg x 2 - 4 times a day - so 8 tablets in a day.

I've been told to stop taking paracetamol or anything for my headaches for a few weeks as you can get headaches from taking paracetamol long term. Strange but it seems true. Get a referral to a headache consultant who can help. I've also heard very good effects from Botox to the back of the head/neck - something like that - work very well for tension. The ease the muscle that may cause this tension.

Whether it is strange or not as a rule of thumb, all pain relief meds can cause "analgesic headaches". Both over the counter meds and POMs like morphine can cause thumping great headaches from either taking too much or for too long.

Shops like Wilkinson and Factory Shop have been selling a neck cushion that has a vibration device and two AA batteries inside. I find mine very helpful in reducing stress from my neck and shoulders.

Regards, Rib

Definitely fine to only take 8-16 a WEEK.  Just not a DAY.
