Has anyone tried Gabapentin for migraine?

I tried Topirimate 6 months ago and the side effects were horrendous.

Had gabapentin for chronic facial pain for 3 years. Also suffered from migraines at the same time. Was on 2700mg a day and it made very little difference. But we're all different.

The side effects weren't too bad (bit of a dry mouth, dizziness but not as bad as some other pills I've been on).

Hope you find something that helps. I'm now on botox (for the pain but it helps the migraines) and sometimes need naratriptan and domperidone if the headache gets really bad.
