Thank you so much Dr Lambert. These are the subjects I always try to discuss with my Heamo. Her answer at each appointment is always the same " well we get tired as we get older"" or words to that effect. Plus a little shrug.

Oh to have a physician like yourself. That would be incredible.

Andrew Schorr made such a good point when he said " how can someone who is so tired get more exercise.? Exactly, I am afraid I just sit in a chair waiting for some energy to return! Which of course it doesn't really. I do understand the point Dr Lambert is making very clearly. But how to implement it ?

So I take from that I have to get myself moving !!! Ones mind has to come into the equation also. ie motivation.

As I mentioned before the attitude of your Consultant makes a very great difference to how we as patients feel. I am afraid that mine is really not communicative on the symptoms of my ET . Sometimes after a consultation I feel quite down. BUT we have you and others like yourself to to give us info and guidance. Plus needless to say all the lovely MPN ers on this site.

Thank you again for giving us a really informative conversation on the things which we struggle with.

best wishes to all Sandy x

Ps loved the written transcript also.

Thank you for your response. I do feel I need to maybe find a Heamo that I can have better communication with, I will have to do a little reasearch.
