Hi Margaret

I am from Easingwold, near York and I would definitely be interested in getting together. Send me a message and maybe we can get it organised.

I know Easingwold, used to drive through regularly on my way to Northallerton. My email is annajohn40@yahoo.co.uk, drop me an email and we can startbour own support group. There must be more of us in The York area! I'll ask Lynn, my Macmillan nurse. Isn't this a great website.

I hope you'll both be drinking cups of green tea at your meeting :-)

LOL! Lizzie! We are both busy at present. I dont "do" hospital based support groups, spend enough time at the hospital as it is and, as I get my treatment in Leeds I have little in common with the YDH based support groups. I just thought the people on this web site were more on my wavelength. That is bolshie and not ready to give in yet!

I wish I was nearer and could join you. (I promise I'd bring my own green tea). Completely agree about the hospital and hospice based groups and meets. Informal is nicer and I have had enough of those placed until I need them for treatments or worse.

Love Lizzie

How true Lizzie! I am far too busy going to the theatre and drinking red wine (in moderation) with friends!
