Does anyone know of shampoo, conditioner, make-up and deodorant that contain only, or mainly, natural ingredients (and are not overpriced)?

Hi Sara,

Online shops like the Eco-superstore have loads; it depends how fussy you are about the ingredients being 100% natural! I use shampoo etc from the local health food shop which costs a little more but lasts for ages - the Jason brand I quite like and as it's American I'm sure you can get it anywhere. We use Ecover handsoaps and detergents etc which you can get at Tesco. And we use a natural salt deodorant - however it doesn't work as an anti-perspirant so that may take a bit of getting used to. I don't consider any of these overpriced and either bought them in the local health food store or even at the supermarket.

Green people is a reasonably priced brand, if you can't get it locally you can get it from Penny Brohn cancer care.

Hello Sara

I have used Liz Earle products for years as I have very dry skin. (I seem to need extra layers while having chemo). I don't know if it is in your price range - I feel the results justify the cost. I don't think I could be without the cleanse and polish as it does not strip my skin and even takes off eye make up the odd time I wear it. There is a web site for mail order, and it is sold at John Lewis. Unfortunately they do not do a deoderant. I have heard of one with tea tree in it but can't remember the name of the company. I found the shampoo excellent, but unfortunately do not need it at the moment! Good luck in your search for something that suits you.
