I am waiting to see a gynaecologist on monday. After symptoms of right sided aching I had a pelvic ultrasound. I was praying it would reveal a simple cyst, but it has shown a trilocular cyst. two of

I hope it will be ok, but if you have been seen quickly and the ultrasound people haven't sent you for another scan (trans-vaginal) and a CA125 blood test, it looks hopeful. I have absolutely no idea what a trilocular cyst is, but ring the Ovacome helpline on Monday morning, the nurses there are so knowledgeable and informative (look on the Ovacome website for details). I'm only a volunteer, an ex-ovca patient (8 yrs ago), so the only knowledge I have is based on my experience, but everyone is different. If you want to keep in touch, I'm on here most days. Try not to worry too much, when ov cancer is suspected, things move quickly and you didn't say what the next step was going to be for you.
