Diagnosed in 2021 with high grade 4a. BRACA 1 & 2 negative but HRD positive. I had chemo, surgery, chemo and Avastin. My tumour analysis took a long time and I missed the cut off date for maintenance PARPS so I've been treatment free for a year. Currently NED, so still here leading a full life. Keep the hope!xxx

Hi Molste,

I’m not sure what you class as a success story, but I was diagnosed as Stage 4b, BRCA negative at the beginning of 2020. Had a few ups and downs, but at present on Niraparib and doing well on it. I am enjoying life - last year I had 2 holidays in Portugal and hoping to holiday again this year. I do have ‘off’ days, and I know my cancer is incurable, but I am still here and able to enjoy love and laughter with my family and friends - for me that’s a success. Good luck with your journey.

I was diagnosed in 2017 stage 3b HGS ovarian/PPC , BRACA negative. No maintenance as they didn’t give it then unless you’d had a recurrence. I’m still here and doing well, various surgical complications with my bowel and digestive issues but enjoying life and feeling well in myself . Good luck with everything x x

I was diagnosed in Oct. 2019 with stage 4. I don’t have the braca gene ( negative), but I was on Niraparib for 3 years after chemo and debulking op. I’m still NED for 41/2 years now. The niraparib dose was lowered to 100 mgs., but I still had side effects that were bothersome. On and off . Sometimes I wonder if I could have stopped niraparib after two years instead of three years. I see a hematologist now, because of anemia from the drug. My last blood test was better, so that is good. Sending best wishes xx
