Hi. Those generics are not available in the United States. I don’t know about the UK, but I don’t think so. Here we get the drug through specialty pharmacies and they have a lot of guidance. It’s a powerful drug and you need close monitoring for the first few months. If the generics are legitimate then they should be okay. Has your government approved them? Olaparib is the generic name of Lynparza.

Hi, I have not seen or heard about a generic approved alternative to Lynparza yet. I would NOT use those. I know there is now a generic and approved alternative for Avastin (about 25% cheaper) called Bevamyl. I am currently on it. I am starting Lynparza again at the end of July. My oncologist will most certainly tell me (and so will my medical aid) if there is a approved alternative generic as this is so terribly expensive
