It is my sad duty to inform you that Madeline passed away peacefully on Monday evening. Her kids and big brother and sister were with her to hold her hand and kiss her beautiful face as she passed.
Mads wanted me to let you all know that you were a constant source of inspiration and joy to her. Whilst I tried to be as supportive as I could be only you truly know what she went through over the past 4 1/2 years.
Thank you for being such wonderful friends for Madeline and I truly wish you the very best of luck and happiness for the future.
Best wishes
Phillip Duncan

Oh Philip, she had gone through so much lately - a courageous woman who loved her family. She shared her wisdom and experiences with us all - it’s good to know she appreciated the forum - as you say it’s a place where you can talk to people who have been through this monstrous disease. However, we never underestimate the power of love from family and friends who are with us all the way.
I’m so sorry to hear the news and send all my love to you and all your family. With love, Ali x
