I took the HRT for many years. I have no family history of cancer. My genetic panel is negative.
I am wondering if there is a link between HRT and ovarian cancer. For sure, it is true with breast cancer. Any one know? Or where would I report my case for research value?

Its probably best to look on one of the Ovarian Cancer charities. If you are in the UK then Ovacome, Target Ovarian Cancer and Ovarian Cancer Action have good websites with a lot of information. You will likely find reference to HRT there as well as a way to contact them.
The relationship with HRT and cancer is complex. There are (as I understand it) two large studies with some issues about how they were structured.
I was also on HRT for many years and my genetic profile was also negative but I ended up with uterine cancer. They’ve told me that the hormones were not responsible but I also wonder. Best of luck.
Well good luck with your research... keep us posted if you get anywhere.
I had HRT for about 8 years including testosterone implants, 6 monthly, between roughly ages 52 to 60, at 69 I was diagnosed. My aunt had breast cancer, cured, but my mum died of dementia
The first question I asked was ..Did I get OC because of this? But doctors seemed uninterested in the why's and wherefores - you have it so we'll treat you, the cause isn't important.
I suppose only if they were doing a research survey on the possible causes would they spend time and energy investigating. That's my take anyway.
