I currently have a hernia which has developed into my scar loops of bowel apparently ! Im hoping to find out what if anything will be done about it later today. Xx

Hi,i had a very large hernia on my midrife . It was the result of the large incision surgery i had in 2012. Had it repaired in september 2014 with meshing. To date iv had no problems and i now look normal. Terrie x

I had my hernia repaired during operation when further surgery was necessary, & they put mesh in.

I have had mesh inserted to hold up my diaphragm after half of it had to be cut out due to tumour.That was in 2011 and no problems as yet.I also have a friend who had mesh after a hernia and it has been very successful so good luck.

Thanks all. Finding recovery slower and more painful than last time and just wondered if it's normal.

Yes I had umbilical and ventril hernia with mesh and I'm in more pain than ever and can't go back to work or do nothing .sitting up hurts so bad n I wake up in the middle of the night in intense pain ,what has ur doctor told u I go back this week and want answers Ty Jeannette aka Muve 62@gmail. Com
