HI Nandi,

I haven't tried it but have discussed it with my Dr who is very open to alternative and complementary therapies. Her advice was no, simply because you will need massive does and IF this was a miracle cure for cancer - why isn't it out there ?

I am very much into alternative and complementary alternatives and have researched so much and discussed with my Dr. I even been in touch with Southampton University Hospital re SIR Spheres and also The Cyber Knife Clinic in Harley Street - nothing at all for me.

I do however know someone who with early stage breast cancer used Mistletoe treatment and claims it shrank the tumour !

If you come up with any more findings on the Vit C, I would be interested. I never stop researching.

Thanks Anna,

I found out about a long trial on ovarian cancer and IV vit. c at the university of Kansas USA. The trial started in 2002 finished recruiting in 2005 and should be finishing and publishing the results soon. Will let you know when and if I find out more.

Have heard good things about Iscador (mistletoe) might look into that a bit more.I will be having my last chemo this afternoon for this recurrence, so fingers crossed. My Onc. is contacting Prof McNish at Barts (thanks to Lizzie) to find out about further or future treatment and trials that may apply to me. Here nothing more is planned.

Hope you are doing well.

Love Dorothy x
