Shared custody support bubble

Could someone help me understand the shared custody bubble rule? My soon to be ex has formed a bubble with his girlfriend, two children and our daughter. Is that allowed or should he be the only one in that bubble without my daughter?

Hello Twofrontteeth ,

I think some of it will depend on the age of the other children and when he formed that bubble, but I found this on the Government website.

gov.uk/guidance/making-a-ch... (Please follow link for full article.)

"If your child lives in more than one location

You can mix indoors where necessary with the other parent to allow your child to move between homes.

**Both you and the other parent can also form a childcare bubble with another household.

"**

It would be helpful if there are any families in the same situation who can share their experiences...

This must feel really tricky to manage. How’s it all going?

Not bad, thank you. I was confused about the single adult household, with shared custody. I didn't think that he could join another bubble with my daughter as well. I thought he would need to join without her. I'm just going to let him get on with it, still not really understanding the rule, otherwise there will be a big argument.

Thank you.
