Acid reflux getting worst

Acid reflux for 9 months now...this few months its getting worst..heartburn has always after eating..i loss weight now for this..stress also trigger this..i have a good sleep..but tired the wholeday with out any work..

You do not say whether you have had an oesophagectomy or not but if you have as I have reflux comes and goes. PPI such as omneprazole helps as does gaviscon .

Tiredness comes with the op as well so normal reaction not to worry about but you may as I was be Vitamin deficient (b12) and should get this checked by your GP.

He will help on reflux as well. It seems clear you need to visit a support nurse at the hospital a dietician or the GP

Go doctors immed. I didnt. Acid has burnt my oesoph... changing its shape/structure. I now have difficulty swallowing and will need an operation. I did all the right things to reduce reflux including intentionally losing 4st in weight but the acid, whilst reduced, was still creeping and though the signs were i was winning the acid fried my oesoph. I had a serious try at self managing the condition but you cant beat the acid alone it causes no end of probs Get checked out asap.
