A selflessness award!

I think we need a selflessness award (preferably a big gold medal) and it should be given to Charlie36. I've been reading through some old blogs, and I noticed no "poor me" from Charlie, just care and concern for others.

I send lots of Elove and Ehugs to Charlie. xxxxxxx

Hello Audrey,

Welcome. Sorry you had the cancer, but you're one of the lucky ones who've had the op!

Everyone has problems at first, indeed a lot of us go on having some problems, but you learn how to cope with them. I found the Crisbake rusks were easy to eat and stayed down, and are quite tasty. Don't eat and drink at the same time,

I can't manage soup, to me it IS like eating and drinking at once. A lot of people can't eat chocolate, but I can!!!

You'll have to experiment with very small pieces of whatever you fancy. Good luck, Let us know how you get on. Don't forget to rest after you've eaten, and as you must eat little and often, you'll get plenty of rest! Make sure you have a good book!

I love humous, one of the first things I ate after my op. My daughter brought some to the hospital for me.
