I’m running out of ideas to solve my coughing caused by acid reflux. I’ve tried PPi’s over the years. Recently tried famitodine. Nothing seems to work. Gaviscon Advance helps a little. I am careful with what I eat and drink. My coughing starts after I have eaten or drunk something. Lasts about 15 mins then settles down. Sometimes it starts again if I’ve gone too long without food too. My barium swallow showed severe reflux. As medication to reduce acid doesn’t seem to work I wonder if trying the IQoro exerciser will strengthen my lower oesophageal sphincter which doesn’t close properly. Has anyone used it with good results?

Anyone tried Iqoro?
Hello Heather, l have the same problem and decided to invest in the iquoro. I have been using it for only a couple of months but haven’t noticed any improvement yet. I am still hopeful that with continued use l will see some result . Obviously everyone’s progress can have a different timescale but l would rather be trying something that could help reduce or cure my symptoms so that l can come off the ppl’s permanently.
Hope this helps.
I take famitodine 20 mg 2 times a day. My bed’s head is elevated. I stop eating and drinking before bed usually several hours 4). I avoid stressors, citric acid, pizza’s, you get the idea.
Hi Pepita Thanks for replying. I’ve tried all of that. None of it has helped my cough. I was interested in finding out who had tried using an Iqoro to see if anyone had positive results.
Have you had an endoscopy?
