Some medications induce constipation as a side effect and multiple medicines same time also do the same.

This is assuming your diet has sufficient fibre and water, and no issues.

If you excess the iron supplement in any form your body will induce loose motion, opposite phenomenon for some medicines.

Hi Lisa, I have the same problem as I have 99%of my food through my tube. I have found that a sachet of HyFIBER every other day solves the problem. They are only 30ml and are taken orally or through a tube, give them a try. Hope you get everything sorted x

I go through my dieticians or the GP, they come in a couple of flavours, but they are only very small sachets, I find one every other day does me. Good luck hope they work out for you x
