Hello, my husband has had a feeding tube for 8 years. We know what you are dealing with. Leakage from the stomach acid causes the skin to get very sore. We clean the sight with water and use a cream with zinc oxide or powder. We also have found the mextrabandages very helpful to absorb any fluids away from the skin. Doctors are not trained in dealing with this. Talk to wound care nurse. They should have plenty of ideas to help. Keep it clean about 3 times a day and the redness should go away. We have had to get another tube installed at another site so now we are dealing with the hole closing, which is taking a long time. But hopefully will continue to improve in time. Good luck. Be consistent with care. See a wound care person for help

We have used venelux ointment with a stoma powder sprinkled on that, then placed a super absorbent dressing over that. Is it draining from the stoma? My husband has had extremely raw skin and that is why we changed the site and had another surgery to place the tube in another hole. Since Covid 19, he has been home and lying down most of the time so the leakage is not as bad. We also use a hydrofiber dressing for the management of the stomach acid that exudes. He is doing better now. But it has taken a long time for the skin to heal and the hole to fill in. We are still trying to close the prior hole that the last stoma was placed in. I would go to a surgeon that deals with these issues and they can get you in touch with a wound care nurse. Good luck. Stay with it and also use super absorbent dressing to keep acid away from skin. Hope that helps. You will need help to learn how to use the hydrofiber dressing, but staying on top of that, also really helps.
