Anyone had serious weight loss related to H Pylori gp will not refer me to gastro as I had tests done last year found hitus hernia was advise to take gaviscon

Hi I would ask to see another dr. You want answers for weight loss. Get bloods done for thyroid etc.

Are you on gaviscon? I guess it is an antiacid which suppresses stomach acid secretion. stomach acid keeps some pathogen under check.
