Sorry if this is TMI but is yellow stool a common symptom?

Hi i see you were on liver site before and gallbladder. I would go to dr and get it checked out could be to do with gallbladder/liver. Or just a bug.

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for responding. I think I’ve been asking everywhere. I’m just hoping to hear other people’s experience. My dr isn’t concerned. I’ve had 2 ultrasounds, 2 ct scans, an endoscopy and am requesting an MRI. I have horrible stomach pain and back pain and have this yellow stool. It’s all very scary to me.

All my test have come back good except I have a fatty liver.

I also have sharp pains on and off in my upper stomach. My life has changed so much in 2 months. 😩

I came across your post searching about yellow stool. I also have a fatty liver and have been dealing with the same thing. Always yellow, usually floats because of too much fat in it. Normal CT scan, normal liver enzymes, just a fatty liver on ultrasound. The bowel changes make me incredibly nervous all the time.

It’s been almost 4 months. My dr says it’s diet related since I completely changed my diet. I don’t know if I believe her.

See I did drastically change my diet as well, back in September when they found the fatty liver. I have a HIDA scan on Wednesday so maybe that’ll help with some of the pancreatic cancer anxiety I’ve been having.

I will, my appointment is tomorrow afternoon so I’ll update you as soon as I hear from the doctor. Sometimes the results pop up on my chart before they contact me. Today has been awful because I just keep googling and finding horrible things.
