Hiya, I have a hiatus hernia and had been on Esomeprazole 40 mg daily for about 5 years, when my G P switched me to Lansoprazole and then Rabeprazole because of a possible interaction with my Clopidigrol. After 4 months of trying, none of the new PPI's worked even along with Gaviscon at night and I had the worst reflux for years. I have since gone back to Esomeprazole 20mg daily with 75mg aspirin and have seen a great improvement in the reflux, however I still have what I can only describe as a sensitive tongue and a kind of metallic taste in my mouth. Has anyone got an idea of the cause and how to get rid of the taste, my wife says my breath does not smell even if I have this unpleasant taste.
Thanks Danny M
