The difference in oesophageal cancer and esophageal cancer?

Are they one in the same? On this site, HealthUnlocked, is the first time I have seen oesophageal???

Oesophageal is the English spelling esophageal I believe is the American spelling 😊 but one and the same 😁 x

Oh, thank you. I had a feeling that was it but I wasn't completely sure. There must be a lot of English people on this board as I see Oesophageal much more than Esophageal. Interesting....
