Update on my Dad

Hi, just thought I'd give a quick update on my Dad. He is now 9 days post op, 3rd full day at home and is doing great :-) He is eating really well, already had 2 scrambled eggs and beans, chicken soup and blended mild veg curry as well as all the things he was eating whilst in hospital such as yoghurt and ice cream. He is sleeping pretty well and generally still feeling very positive (he had a slight 'down' day the day after he came home but I think that was because he was so tired).

Just thought I'd share as I know how nice it is to read positive updates :-)

Good to hear ! Long may it continue :)

That is good news. Do not forget that there will be some down days, but as long as he feels better week on week he is making progress in the right direction.

He was a bit down the day after he was discharged but I think it was because he was tired.
