fatigue
Hi Azura,
I was still having trouble with fatigue after 3 years and even though my iorn levels were in the low end of normal my doctor put me on a course of iorn tonic, which after a couple of months made a vast difference to me. I still take iorn supplements 2 years on.
Cheers Lizzy
Dear Azura,
What I suffer from could be chronic fatigue, I'm not realy sure and have not really discussed it with the Medical advisors. I realy find the need to nap of an afternoon otherwise I fall asleep where I am, be it on the ride-on or at the computer, anywhere. Then again I'm 72 Years young. Problem with this is that I will suffer a low sugar 60% of the time on waking. Does anyone else have hypos after afternoon naps? 80% of my Hypos occur around 4.00pm and 5pm! Again, is this common?

Hi Azura. I am 4 years post op and still get very tired if I try to do too much. I have had blood tests that show my vitamins and mineral levels are low, so my GP advised a good multi vitamin, and on Liz's advice I take a childs iron tonic, which doesn't upset my stomach. I put it down to not eating a lot, and I tend to stick to the same foods that I know won't upset me, so I may not be getting a good balance from my diet.
We are between a rock and a hard place, if I vary my diet I have dumping, if I don't I have low energy due to low vits and minerals, but we all find our way and what suits us best.
So good luck and keep smiling
