Hi All! Kirsten, here. I'm a community moderator and Program Manager for the Osteoarthritis Action Alliance (OAAA) with a background in exercise science and a long history of research coordination for studies in a variety of chronic pain syndromes. What have I learned about anything? Hands down, staying active is the best medicine for everyone, everywhere, including people with osteoarthritis. Next best medicine? Strong support. Whether through friends, family, or complete strangers, feeling connected, engaged, and understood are critical for physical and emotional health. I hope you will stop by, share your story, ask questions, and help each other manage everyday challenges, stay motivated and encouraged, and celebrate successes. Welcome to the Osteoarthritis Action community!
