No sorry can't help really, except to ray when my rheumatologist spoke to me about it he advised me away from it for the first two fingers he told me that joint knuckle replacements took better on the last three fingers of the hand due to not getting knocked as much, but not sure if yours will think the same

Had 4 main knuckles in right hand done several years ago. They have been good. No doubt someone here will have had finger knuckles done. Hope you get a good answer.
Hi ann, I agree with Julie ( RA-Fibro) I was told something very similar by my consultant. Also that the recovery is more risky and your more prone to infection in such a small area.
Sometimes though surgery can't be avoided.

Hi thank you for all your help I am seeing the consultant on tuesday afternoon so will see what they say just cannot stand the pain when it gets so bad I cannot use or touch my fingers and so tired from pain waking me up, still it can only get better, keeping my fingers crossed (if I could) for a solution.
