Been on filgotinib for over a year now with no problems so far.however last few days feeling nauseous.i know it is listed as main side effect but not had it until now.i just wondered what others took for nausea, which I remember was awful when I was on methotrexate many many years ago.to add to it I have dreadful fear of being sick,so am not eating anything except dry toast. Any otc meds that might help would be really good in first instance.thankyou everyone if you have any tips !xx

Are you sure it’s the filgotinib? It seems slightly strange that it would suddenly start making you feel nauseous after all this time. If it is then the only thing that will really help is ondansetron but that is prescription only so you will need to speak to your GP or rheumatologist.
In the meantime things with ginger in can help a little. Try nibbling a ginger biscuit or sipping ginger ale.
Agree with all the others. Sounds like you’ve picked up a bug but check with your GP if you’re not better in a day or two as it could be something else you’re cooking up. Nausea after being on Filgotinib for a year is really unlikely. Do hope you feel much better very soon.
