Good evening, after having some severe side effect, from what I thought was from Hydroxychloroquine, I had a chat with my Rheumatologist who told me because I am feeling so much better and still taking Hydroxychloroquine it was more than likely the withdrawal from the steroids I was on. I am feeling so much better now. Thank you for all, the support that I have received on. It has help enormously and I know that I am not alone. ❤️

Side effects of Hydroxychloroquine
I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better! I wondered about the steroids when you posted previously but not had much experience of them myself. Anyway, hope you continue to improve 👍
Great News. Hydroxychloriquine takes a while to kick in but if it does the job then it's a wonderdrug - as, it has been for me. Hope your journey goes smoothly now. I too have found this site so amazingly helpful. The contributors are supportive, caring and have a positivity through challenges that take my breath away.
Hi there! Glad you are feeling better! I’m where you were—on Planquenil and trying to wean off pred after using it for 2.5 years. Down to 2.5 mg now, I usually have a bad flare when I get below 3. I’ve been on the Planquenil for 4 months now . . . How long does it take to be really effective?
So glad to hear that you are feeling better, Diane.
