Hi all as a RA warrior like most of you my 5 year old Granddaughter has just been diagnosed with JA can anybody give me advise for her x

So sorry to hear about your wee granddaughter. That must have upset you. With children they tend to treat straight away to stop damage just like with us. Luckily there are a lot more drugs these days and specialists clinics, not when I was a bairn. I hope she has a good paed rheumy specialist near by. Might we worth her parents taking her to a big city hospital for the best up to date care.

Thanks yea is local to big city hospital as she gets treated there for type 1 diabetes and very sever asthma so hopefully that's all she gets

Hi, my advice is to go to the NRAS website. They have a lot of good information about JIA. You will find many answers there. All the best to you and the little one.

Sorry to hear that. I was thinking I was hard done by getting it in my late 20s but hearing that really puts it into perspective. I hope she gets better soon.
