Hydroxychloroquine & headaches

Hello,

I have started hydroxychloroquine just over a month ago, I have had a headache everyday since my dose was increased to two tablets, two weeks ago. Does the headache go away? Apparently it’s a common side effect. Does anyone have an knowledge of this? Thank you

I didn't get a headache but I would speak to your rheumy nurse as they are best to advise you and need to know if you are having side effects.

Ok, will do. I am new to this.. haven’t met a nurse yet but will call the consultant secretary to see if I can have a number. Thank you!

Ah sorry Ruth, I didn’t realise. If you can’t get hold of the secretary try the clinic as they will know the number.
