Hopefully it is an infection and something that can be effectively treated. It’s the easiest thing in the world for me to say, try not to worry but, try not to.

I wish you the very very best of luck going forward x

I had a similar situation in August. Go back for an urgent CT scan...... I get the results later today. Their urgency and ours seem to be for different reasons, I am, apparently, subject to continual chest infections.

Just to update you, the result of the scan has shown I now have Bronchiectasis, which means I retain too much phlegm and will now have an almost permanent cough.

H hun. Thinking of you and as chest infections are not uncommon on biologics I hope it’s simple and easy to treat. Take care and try not to stress. Lesley (chapel allerton too) X

It’s easy for all of us to say don’t worry. The good news is that they’re following up on what the initial X-ray told them they might just need a better view to be able to make a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. It’s not necessarily something sinister. All I can do is send you my best wishes and support and hope that the end result will just be managed with non evasive tablets if it’s infection based. It may not be anything at all and could be even be gone by the time you have your CT this has happened to me before was just the end of an infection which I didn’t really know I had.
