I trained dogs outdoors for years. Encouraged by so many people who knew me and my dedication to my pups! Inspired by my Border Collies. This is a photo taken couple of years ago in early December. A beautiful Christmas tree I thought..
I truly hope to get fit again and will strive to do this!

What a brilliant pic! The two German Shepheds, but for the ears they could be my Perdi, hers were floppy, probably due to bad diet when a youngster we were told. She was around 2 when she found us & likely fed on old bread as most are in the campo.
Aww so glad Perdi found you. Great name for a Shepherd. These two are brothers ( very competitive and jealous ) Quite a handful and took tremendous patience and persistence to get them to this stage ha! The fox terrier tormented them like mad! 😂
It was short for Perdita (lost in Spanish). The vet found it apt. She'd had her personality taken, we guess she'd been used as a guard dog as she had a rusty chain digging into her neck but she was so soft she'd have been useless so guess that's why she ended up camping at out gate, probably smelt our dogs. She was the loveliest of dogs.
I bet that was a sight, your fox terrier being boss dog.
Thank you Mike. Yes, he is very possessive with his toys! One of the Shepherds used to continually try to steal his ball but Bert runs like a greyhound 😁 This photo took some persistence with them as you can imagine and he bolted ( with his ball) soon after!
Thanks for posting this great picture. Its good enough for a christmas or birthday card. You should go into business as an animal photographer. I have a rescue greyhound who is 11 now but was in a state when i got her from the dogs home 8 years ago. Can't imagine being without her now. She cheers me up no end.
Aww, what a lovely thing to say -Thank you :). I have hundreds of pictures of this crew and some others including my own Collie sisters. Lots of people have said same as you and I have tried, problem is a lot of them need obedience training outdoors first before they will sit still for a photo. It's been a fantastic period of my life working with the dogs. It got to the stage if I took my phone out to answer a call/text they would automatically pose! thinking it was photo time. So funny!😁 Well done for taking on a rescue dog that's brilliant! It can be very hard. Love greyhounds and whippets such affectionate dogs X
Love the photo - brilliant shot. I love dogs and miss ours and other people’s dogs (all no longer with us 😢) that used to stay with us as and when needed. You made me laugh 😂 out loud about your phone and your dogs reaction - I can just picture it, so funny. Thank you for posting. X
Thank you for your kind words I understand you missing the dogs, they are all so full of love. Yes, they have had people in stitches with that. So used to me taking their photo. They were always one step ahead of me. Didn't need to tell them to pose 😂 X
Thank you. Very kind. Dogs are truly the best medicine ever! They also sense when your feeling low and are such a comfort. All they want to do is make you happy! What could be better than that ☺️ Xx
