So having had no proper follow up appointment since April due to hospital fail. Move down in to consultants list. Spoke to him by phone three weeks ago begging him for help. He said he would look at 12 week treatment plan.
Letter to my GP after this says this lady has expressed concern she may not have RA in light of recent investigations. She might well be right!
So this time last year they said I had anti-ccp positive RA and whacked me on to triple therapy. I couldn't tolerate it and then suddenly in April they claimed they could no longer see any inflammation and I may be had tennis elbow, golf elbow, and unrelated knee issues (after saying the same symptoms were RA)
I asked for the anti-ccp test to be done again last month and it's come out normal. The MRI on my knee shows fluid but no inflammation. So
I have limited movement in my hands, knees, elbows and ankles. I have swelling in all these joints. My ankles are twice the size they should be (fluid isn't consistent with cardiac) essentially I have observed fluid in all my joints. The rheumatology physio says she doesn't understand it, she was sure the MRI would show inflammation.
Has anyone else had this. I a man seeing the consultant next week. GP, occupational health consultant and physio all confirming fluid and swelling in my joints but no inflammation.
I also feel very unwell, flu like symptoms etc and very stiff if I've been still for a while.
If it isn't RA I can't think what it is. They've ruled out fibro and I have swelling.
