My ankles constantly hurt and are swollen. Will this RA ever stop? Mrs. Ray is feeling discouraged and sad.

I know what you mean. I suffer like this as well, but it amazes me that the feet are not taken into the DAS score. The pain is awful.

Me too I'm sorry to say, my ankles and my feet have always been like this, so I need to make sure I'm on level ground, I hope you get it sorted soon.

Hi Pastyjoray, have you tried compression stockings? I was recommended them to help with my ankle swellings. They don't look sexy 😕but they make a difference to the swelling and pain, I wear mine during day and when they are bad I wear them in bed. I had 4 pairs some with full foot and some toe less so you can still wear Sandles. I got mine from the hospital so they fit me properly; might be worth giving them a try.

Hi sorry you are suffering, I have been up and down for 2 years I have weeks/months with the pains you describe but also weeks/months with very little in way of pain so I'm sure you will get a break from the pains, that is the nature of the beast I'm afraid
