2.5 mile run yesterday evening. Felt really good afterwards and kept a pace of 7 minutes 27 seconds. Very humid and sweaty though! Will do 5K tonight and hopefully come in under 24 minutes.

Running
Hi there
I managed to go for quite a long walk along the river yesterday!! Not quite the same but running out of question for me. Thought I would suffer today but I'm actually not to bad. I have bursitis in my hip which makes hills a bit painful so pleasantly surprised. You keep up the running and stay fit🏃
Played football with the students today... Felt good and we stopped for several drink breaks in the shade 😎
Oh my! How you can run in this weather is beyond me!
I have difficulty doing anything, partly because the sweat running down gets in my eyes and partly because my brain just feels so woolly in the heat.
Those of you who are Terry Pratchett fans will know what I mean when I say that I must be a Troll.
You sound like you are quite keen on fitness and quite competitive. If you are affected by fatigue from RD you are the kind of person who will find it very difficult to cope with. if you find you get unusual persistent fatigue there is only one answer and that is to rest (I have been there and got the t-shirt). The good news is that if your RD is well controlled by the treatment regime the fatigue can be minimised.
This is inspiring to hear. I started Couch to 5K yesterday which my physio told me about. I was nervous about starting as I haven't run since RA diagnosis but C25K is a great way to ease yourself gently into running.
