Are you taking sulphazaline? Is so that's most probably your answer.

I've been on both & still on MTX but not had this problem Hala. Do you have gastro problems? If so it might be an idea to see your GP, or if it's concerning you go anyway.

I will raise the question next time but doctors don't listen. I feel no abdominal pain but worried that might be my liver reacting to MTX.

Then you've to explain you're concerned, no doctor worth his salt doesn't listen to his patient.

When you have your drug monitoring bloods done are your liver results pretty level? If so you've no need to be concerned. If your liver was being affected it would be dark not yellow. As crashdolll says it's more likely to be gastro, fats can be notoriously difficult to digest.

Black, dark red and runny black you need to worry about!

Yellow poop can be linked with poor digestion of fats.

When did you last have bloods done?

Very recently. My rheumy mentioned nothing about that.

Definitely worth talking to your GP about.

I have fatty liver from MTX or steroids, not sure which, and I often have pale or yellow stools.

Not what you're looking for?
