I have had many MRI tests over the years my knees are so swollen over the years they always do the MRI knee and back never full body I am wondering if this is what I have will be interested in the replies. Hope they find something to help you
Yes I've had quite a few knee effusions over the years. If it's just the knee they aspirated the fluid and put in some steroid and I rest for 24 hours. But if there are multiple ones ( usually wrists, fingers, ankles and toes) they usually give me a depo. Luckily I've avoided surgery. Hope you go on ok. Take care.
