haven't got time to check properly, but I think it has something to do with the way your kidneys are functioning. Needs to be looked at in conjunction with a number of other blood tests though, and not just on its own.

Thanks for your input, it is to do with waste filtering in the Kidneys, but what causes the increase, my BP is ok, so I think its something to with the medication. Thanks once again

you might find this website helpful as it explains about raised creatinine.

netdoctor.co.uk/ate/liveran...

There has been quite a lot of discussion about whether it is sensible to test everyone on blood pressure medication for kidney function as it quite alarming for a patient to be told that their kidney function is poor, when it may not be significant in the long term - that is that the kidneys will cope unless they get much worse.

Next time you see your GP, ask if they have checked your kidney function (which the probably will have) and ask what the result is. If they talk about eGFR (glomerular filtration rate) then as long as its over 60 they don't usually do anything about it. 60 is sometimes considered borderline chronic kidney disease, but its so common and there isn't much you can do about it except keep your blood pressure under control, that they don't usually do anything until it is well below 60.
