Visanne hormone treatment

Hi

I have been recommended Visanne by my gynecologist, which she said may help to shrink an endometrimoa on my left ovary (around 3.5cm), and help with pain management. I wonder if anyone here has any experience with this pill, and if there is anything I should be aware of before I start.

Thank you!

hey I had visanne, I had some bad side effects and it caused a lot of brain fog and worse pain for me. It worked well for a month or so and then the side effects started to creep in. I got very snappy and aggressive on it too. They then switched it to oralissa which I wish I hadn't taken which caused me to burst into tears all the time and then I ended up in the emergency room with heart attack symptom side effects from it. It was all very scary and I wish I hadn't taken either to be honest.

Hi I'm hoping for some information on Visanne 2mg as I to have an endometrioma of 4 plus cm on my left , doctor said I'd need surgery but that's not an option right now because of my mental state . I've been on Visanne 4 days now and would like to know how effective and side effects. in regards to weight gain depression acne and mood swings if this affects most women this way I will stop and look for another alternative. I apologize for rambling. Wishing you all the best in your endo journey.
