My wife, who has aggressive follicular lymphoma, received an NIH CAR-T infusion on March 2, 2016 - she is still in complete remission. Her only remaining side effect is low immunoglobulins for which she gets an IVIG infusion every 4 months.

It's very encouraging to hear that and here's wishing your wife a long and happy remission which she richly deserves after going through so much treatment.

Could you please tell me as to where you are from. I am in NZ and they have not released for trials yet CAR-T cell infusion. I am very pleased with the success of your wife's infusion. I have Mantle cell Lymphoma and currently on the drug Imbruvica. Best Regards Doug Oliver

I live in Northern Virginia, USA. My wife is in a CAR-T clinical trial, Bethesda, MD, USA.

Thanks for that. We are hoping Car-T cell trials will begin in NZ next year. I guess there is no hope of getting on a trial in the USA without it costing a fortune. I am doing quite well on the drug Imbruvica but it doesn't last for ever ....so I am told. Hope things continue to go well for your wife. Regards Doug
