Hi natural ways

Natural remedies assist medicine probably.

If natural remedies were curative then they would be called medicine.

You have to borderline insane to try and cure an aggressive cancer with natural remedies.

That's my opinion.

I do know of quite a few that were healed naturally, but we are so programmed to believing chemo is the only way that fear keeps us from educating ourselves more. What we believe is powerful...Thank you for your thoughts on this!

I have to agree with you! I spent thousands upon thousands trying to cure myself to no avail. I didn't know what normal felt like and even though chemo can be challenging it has given me my life back. I thank a nurse friend of mine for telling me it would be my best option. I was very sick and would have been dead without it. I love life and am a woman of gratitude who does not sweat the small stuff anymore.

As 1Anji said, when cancer cells are aggressive time is not on our side and we have to look at all available options and weigh them up with our doctors (and that may include getting a second opinion).

I believe that natural strategies have huge promise in keeping many cancers in remission and the metabolic theory of cancer is gaining ground.

However, when our lives are under immediate threat from a fast growing tumour, it must be dealt with and if the only way is radiation /surgery/appropriate chemo, then unfortunately so be it.

This is my personal opinion and I look forward to hearing what others have to say about it. I don't think we can reject either approach as everyone's circumstances are different but keeping an open mind to all options is vital.

Praying for God's wisdom is vital! Jeff is suppose to start his treatments tomorrow, and am hoping and praying any bad side effects are minimal.

Years ago 1984 I belonged to a support group for cancer.I quit because it was so depressing. They believed everything you ate and basically everything caused cancer.I did the chemo &radiation and ate what I wanted.I'm the only one alive out of the group of fifthteen!

Please don't get me wrong. Natural remedies have their place. I'm sure one day we will utilise natural remedies better.

However I do strongly object to "nutty" herbolagists etc preying on people's HOPE to give them false facts for their own benefit.

I agree that sometimes cancer should be dealt with aggressively. I am a strict vegan and if I had not done chemo I would be dead.

Hi

When I was diagnosed 6 years ago, ( not large B cell but follicular B cell) I tried alternate medicines. 6 months later I was having chemo. I think you need to listen to your oncologist and support with natural therapies provided they don't interfere with the drugs being given by your dr. Good luck.

According to Dr. Ken Crawford, chemotherapy works for Lymphomas & childhood leukemia. My son had leukemia in '85 and I am post treatment for 2 years now for lymphoma. That said, getting Dr. Ken's books will be the best investment you ever make. Chemo is no fun & his protocol will fix much of the damage chemo causes. This is all brand new thinking and he currently has 3 end-stage cancer patients alive. Do not post negative responses until you have read his books & talked to him.
