I was dx April 2015 with FNHL and am on watch and wait. So far so good. I also have rheumatoid arthritis which was probably the impetus. Hope everyone else is doing well.

I too have Follicular lymphoma as well as rheumatoid arthritis. My former rheumatologist (now retired) concluded that the lymphoma and RA are intertwined. Both are auto immune diseases. The use of Rituximab for the treatment of lymphoma does double duty in that it works wonders on RA and has put my RA into remission. Apparently it is often used to treat RA in the UK.

Very interesting, Tinkerbellcgy. I have Follicular NHL and my youngest daughter is currently being investigated for RA.

Hi, this is interesting I don't have follicular but marginal zone. I have sore shoulders a sore hip, my back can act up occasionally , I was never diagnosed with RA but makes me wonder if I have it. Is RA diagnosed by bloodwork? Or X-rays or something else? Thanks

RA can be diagnosed by bloodwork as well as other means. Perhaps have your family physician look into your symptoms a bit further and perhaps a referral to a rheumatologist.

I am seronegative but was dx by physical symptoms. Yes get a referral to a rheumatologist. It can help.

For my RA I'd did for a little over a year, but nothing for my Lymphoma. RA is presently flaring and they want to put me on something but I'm putting it off as long as possible.
