Hi

Hi Emma, I am a 54 year old woman and was originally diagnosed with NHL in 2015 and after going into remission in 2016 my lymphoma crossed the blood, brain barrier into my CNS. I went through 8 rounds of,chemo and then a stem cell transplant (Nov 4, 2016). I am now in recovery mode and doing well. My immune system has to,recover so I have to be careful and avoid germs, groups, etc. I wish you and your mom well and will keep you in my prayers🙏💗
Hi - Thank you for your reply. It is good to know there is some hope. The doctors seem to be very negative about the prognosis. Do you know what chemo regime they used? My mun is 72 can they are concerned about the toxicity issues.
Hi Emma. I have primary CNS non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I was diagnosed in August 2016 after my left arm went numb. I had 6 rounds of high dose methotrexate and follow up MRI showed my brain lesions were smaller and no spread...remission. I had consolidation chemo the end of November and was in the hospital 3 for weeks. Now waiting to have MRI this week to see how things look. Sending healing thoughts to your dear mom.
