Oh no I am just wait and watching...went in July and all three lymp nodes were smaller.then went in Dec. And they had increased in size.so I had to rethink what I did different these past 6 months..and I had increased my carbs and what I was eating had some sugar...like cabbage saute onions and green beans ..so now I am eating meat and cheese and eggs .which I don't think has any sugar and very little carbs bc carbs will turn into sugar.mi go now every 3 months

Sometimes they treat the nodes with radiotherapy to shrink or get rid of them. Watch and wait is tough but you get a chance to improve your diet/exercise/lifestyle in the hope of keeping it in remission for as long as possible. If the lymphoma progresses or becomes aggressive, treatment is required to send it back into remission. It's different in each case. You can never do wrong by cleaning up your diet and getting as healthy as you can and it has the added benefits of making you feel good and taking your mind off the illness. I am nearly three years on watch and wait and my whole lifestyle has changed since being diagnosed. In follicular lymphoma, there seems to be little benefit in treating too early if there is no progression. This may not apply with other versions of the disease.

Thanks for the response, I am learning daily about the many forms Lumphoma can take. I just had my bone marrow test yesterday PET soon to follow.

I have been reading about diet especially since I will more than likely be on a CHOP chemo.

All the best
