Peritoneal dialysis. I am struggling badly to adjust to the routine. It is making me quite depressed. Are there any help groups or support?

I am new to peritoneal night time dialysis. The machine keeps alarming, makes a frightful noise. My catheter is positional and I have problems with constipation, night sweats and weight loss. I am very depressed about this as I recently lost use of a Kidney transplant after twenty five years. Can anyone help me adjust to the situation. Any help at all please. I have felt so desperately low about the situation.

you can adjust the volume of the alarm.look in the manual that comes with the machine or ask your nurse.i used to have night sweats when i started and would wake up drenched, but that has stopped now.
