I cope by immersing myself in information, adhering to his diet, and trying to remind myself that he’s still a kid. I also seek out stories from people living with/through childhood CKD.

I cope by prayer , by asking questions, I also asked the nephrology team if there was a parent that I can I speak with that is going through or has been through CKD diagnosis. And the nephrology was able to exchange our information so that I could be able to speak with the parent . I would keep a notebook so if there was a question that I forgot to ask I would write it down and take it with me to appointments.
