This very special, free event is focused on helping young patients live healthy, fun-filled lives. Children, their families, and caregivers will have the opportunity to meet with physicians, dietitians, nephrologists, and other relevant healthcare professionals for a day of empowering education and animal-house fun. While parents and caretakers connect with experts and engage in a series of kidney-health and childcare discussions, children will meet a community of other young patients, and play a series of interactive, group learning-games that will foster friendships, help them better understand their bodies, and enable them to gain confidence in their health.

This event is completely free and includes admission to the Brookfield Zoo for those who attend the full program. Travel scholarships are available for those traveling long distances. Learn more and register here: nkfi.org/kids
