Hi everyone! I am Melissa and my daughter Daphne (9yo) has had kidney disease since birth. She is the survivor of a twin pregnancy with acute Twin to twin transfusion syndrome. Daphne spent her first 5 months in the NICU. She had a transplant (from living donor, my husband) days after her 4th birthday. She is a happy, joyful, resilient little kid who takes her meds twice a day and gets monthly labs. We live in Westchester County, outside of NYC. Looking forward to hearing about everyone's kidney kids.
